Download the Desktop Version and Override the Antivirus Software
Downloading the desktop version of GEM-CAR while bypassing your system's antivirus software is an operation that requires special care.
GEM-CAR is an efficient software, and smooth installation is essential to guarantee optimum performance.
It is necessary to use GEM-CAR's desktop application to configure printers and if you are using the signature block.
In the top right corner of the page, next to the user's name and photo, click on the icon to download the desktop version.
Please note that this function is not available for Macintosh computers, tablets or smartphones.
However, if after downloading, the antivirus does not allow installation, press the Download anyway button to download the desktop version.
To avoid this message, you can deactivate the Web Advisor (McAfee) extension on your browser before installing the desktop version, so that McAfee no longer blocks the installation.
Click on the extension settings of the browser you're using, in this case Chrome, and deactivate the antivirus.
The software will download and run normally after installation.
